THE GOOD:
This is a very solid California “San Jose “ 1966 Mustang Coupe
It has its original 289 2V running motor in it.
You can drive this project while you work on it.
It is a factory Red on Red with Pony Interior and Center Console.
The quarter panels are solid and original to the car.
The floors are solid and there is no major rust anywhere in this car.
The engine bay sheet metal is also nice.
You will not have to replace any sheet metal on this car.
The Body is very straight and the doors and trunk close nicely.
There is a nice set of Aluminum Center lines on it.
The seats, door panels, center console, seatbelts, sun visors, rear view mirror, dash gauges and steering wheel are original and are in very nice condition.
The chrome on the car is in good condition.
It has all the original Mustang emblems.
This is an easy project nothing major needs to be done to this car.

THE BAD:
The paint job is a 10 footer. It looks good from 10 feet away.
It should really be painted back to its original red.
It is missing the radio and antenna
It has no headliner but does have the Headliner Bows.
It’s missing the driver’s sill plate
The front windshield has a 6 inch crack in it.
It is missing the front and rear window trim.
It needs a dash pad.
There is slight damage to the driver’s side tip of the hood and headlight trim piece.
