This Lincoln is a One Owner California Car it was purchased on 06/15/56 at Sachs Downey Avenue in Downey California. The original Bill of sale, impeccable service records, all registrations are still with the car. The original owner took very good care of this Lincoln. The Car was purchased in 56 and parked in 1979 when the owner could no longer drive.

The Factory Detail and Workmanship that went into building these Lincolns is wonderful. The Detailed Lincoln Brass Helmets on the Hood and Trunk ornaments the extensive chrome along the headliner and throughout the interior. The Music Notes in the Rear Chrome Speaker Grills. The rear wind wings that pop out. The Dual exhaust out of the Rear Bumper.
A very nice example of a Classic Car.

This Lincoln has Power Windows, Power Seats, Power Brakes, Power Steering

This Lincoln is all original. We did the following to freshener her up.

MECHANICS:
A Tune-up, New Exhaust, Detail of Engine Bay, New Water Pump and Belts, Recore the Radiator, rebuild the Carburetor and Fuel Pump, Flushed the Gas Tank, Replaced the Battery, Serviced the Transmission, and Rebuilt the Brakes. Degreased the undercarriage.
She Runs Strong and has Good Compression.

PAINT AND BODY:
This Lincoln is Solid but the original paint was faded.
It has the original Floors and Trunk and they are Solid.
We took a few very small dings out, blocked her put her in Primer and repainted her in the factory single stage colors.
The Glass all the way around the car is in really nice condition.

CHROME:
The Chrome is in above average condition for a 1956. The rear bumper where the dual exhaust comes out is in exceptional condition. “They are usually broken”
The front and rear bumpers are solid on this car. She could use some rechroming or just drive her and enjoy.

THE INTERIOR:
The Power Seats and Windows Work, all Lights Work, all Gages seem to work fine.
The Dash Bezel, Radio etc is in really nice shape.
The Headliner, Sun visors, Rear view mirror are all original and in excellent shape.
The Chrome on the interior is in really nice shape.
The door panels are in really nice shape.

THE BADS:
The Seats are original Leather. The Front and Rear Seat although in better than usual condition could use new upholstery. The Seats will not need new foam they are solid.
The Carpet is Original it is not torn but is from 1956.
There is a slight warp in the vinyl dash top on the passenger side.
The Blinker turn arm is broken at the very end.
The LH rear turn single Lense is missing we are trying to locate one now.
The Electric Antenna is missing.
The RH fender Lincoln emblem is broken beyond repair.
We have all other Emblems they were being detailed when photo’s where shot.
